Multicultural Kids Camps
a fun, healthy, and engaging exploration of other cultures
Core to all our camps are hands on experience of the culture and traditions of the cultural ambassador's country. Most important is experiencing these through food, not simply tasting the food, but cooking and eating food from each camp's focus culture.
On Philippines day, we are making Bandaritas. We tried Filipino traditional drinks - Palamig Black jelly juice, During our cooking segment, we learned how to cook Tinola and rice. We had so much fun dressing up a tradition Filipino costume and did a fashion show.
